Yash Thakkar

My name is Yash Thakkar. I'm a young, eager-to-learn, initiative, and ambitious healthcare professional with nearly six years of experience in the healthcare industry. I'm continuing my education at the business school of Herzing University, where I am pursuing an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Healthcare Administration. The program will be concluded for me in Winter 2025.

I am an Assistant Administrator at Divine Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. in Yorkville, IL. At Divine Home Health, I help the administrator, director of nursing, and revenue cycle manager with a variety of projects. Projects are related to components such as record filing, documentation auditing, revenue cycle activities, including verifying accurate reimbursement payments and insurance payor communications with appeals, as well as patient documentation organization mechanisms. I've also worked as an Administrative Assistant at DMJ Home Health Services, Inc. in Aurora, IL. I've participated in numerous projects, including creating employee policies and procedures, DME ordering, coordinating patient and employee paperwork, and conducting quality assurance audits. My long-term career goal is to work as an administrative professional in the healthcare industry. Managerial roles are also part of my long-term career plan.
